We personally answer all of our inbound telephone calls during our office hours (9:30 to 17:30 hrs, Monday to Friday) with an average response time, if the line is clear, of 9 seconds. There are times when we may have to place an answer machine on the line, and if a contact name and telephone number is left, we will endeavour to return your call as soon possible.
Outdoor.ie customers who shop online must be 18 years of age or older.
The OutdoorScene Ltd reserves the rights to revise prices and details at any time and without notice. Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
All items advertised by The OutdoorScene Ltd (outdoor.ie) are subject to availability.
Prices indicated as reductions relate to products that have been on sale previously at the higher price for at least 28 days. All SALE products sold online will be despatched in accordance with and upon completion of the transaction.

For your own safety, we recommend that you read carefully the safety instructions printed on all packaging plus any safety leaflets that are provided with your delivered items before you carry out any projects.
Safety instructions, labelling and packaging are the responsibility of the proprietary brand owner. Except in the case of death or personal injury, The OutdoorScene Ltd is not responsible for any inaccuracies contained therein or any damage resulting from the misuse of such items. Notwithstanding this, The OutdoorScene Ltd will deal with all customer complaints in good faith.
We recommend that you check carefully all proprietary brand item labels and packaging to ensure that the item delivered is as described in your order to us.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
If you are printing any plug wiring diagrams on a black and white printer, we recommend that you do the following as a minimum:
a) Make a careful note of the diagram on the screen, including the colour of each wire and its position within the plug
b) Follow any wiring or safety instructions given with the equipment to be wired
c) If in any doubt whatsoever, consult a qualified electrician

Delivery within Island of Ireland
All orders are despatched as soon as possible after receipt, it is our aim and usual practice to despatch orders received before 12 noon on the same day. If in the event of a delay, or if it is not possible to despatch orders promptly, we will advise you by email.
Currently all orders under the value of €95 including VAT are dispatched by Courier.
Most of our products are supplied direct from stock and will be delivered by our couriers. The OutdoorScene Ltd aim to achieve delivery of 98% of its parcels in Ireland within 48 hours.
Large items such as furniture or assembled BBQs, are normally delivered with the Dublin area by our own vehicles by special arrangement with the customer.
The OutdoorScene Ltd realise that if you have ordered a “premium delivery service” with us, that it is our responsibility to get the goods to you within the selected time frame. However, where the delivery is provided by a third party, The OutdoorScene Ltd cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery times.
All goods ordered will be delivered within 30 days of receiving the order. If we cannot deliver within this time, The OutdoorScene Ltd will inform you and arrange another time for delivery. If another time cannot be agreed The OutdoorScene Ltd will offer you a refund.
You can pay by Visa, Master Card, Debit Card or in some cases by cheque.
We do not hold or have access to any of your personal financial information. Instead, personal financial information is handled and stored on a remote secure server and is the full responsibility of Realex Payments. Realex host the payment page where you enter your details. The information is encrypted in transit and again in storage. Realex are level 1 PCI compliant to store credit card details. Realex take responsibility once you are on our payment page. In order to offer you an efficient service, we need to collect some information from you. We need your name and address to know where to send your order. The telephone number and email address is to enable us to contact you should there be a problem with your order. At point of sale in The Outdoor Scene retail shop, or via online purchase at outdoor.ie, you may be given the option to consent and subscribe to email marketing newsletters. By doing so you agree that The Outdoor Scene may collect, use your personal data which you have provided for the purposes of email marketing only. By subscribing you agree you are providing consent to receive marketing material from The Outdoor Scene.
We do not give, hire or sell your information to third parties. The OutdoorScene Ltd may wish to contact you in future if we have products that we think may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive future mailings, please unsubscribe to newsletters.

Overseas (non Irish) Customers
We are an Irish based company.
All items on our site are priced in Euros. This means that the amount that you actually pay will vary depending upon the exchange rate at the time that your transaction is processed.
Our prices include VAT (where applicable) .
Goods sent to private individuals within the EC will attract VAT at the current rate, (the price you pay before addition of any extra postage will be the price, inclusive of VAT, shown on the site).
Goods sent to companies within the EC can be zero rated if they supply us with their VAT registration number.
At The OutdoorScene Ltd, we’ve tried to make our return procedure as simple as possible. To return or exchange an item (excluding garden Furniture, assembled BBQs, Assembled Items) you may do so within 28 days of receipt of the goods.
We do not accept returns of garden furniture. Given the nature of the product, Garden furniture is very costly to transport, package and handle. We strongly advise customers to check the size of the space that that they intend to put their furniture prior to purchase. If in the event that The OutdoorScene Ltd may agree under special circumstances, to accept a return of garden furniture or pre-assembled items, the customer will be obliged to cover the cost of transport, handling, and all other repacking costs that may be relevant to the particular item being returned.

Damaged and Faulty Goods – On delivery of your goods we advise that they should be checked immediately for damage or malfunction. In the unfortunate event that an item does arrive faulty or damaged, you must inform us within 7 days of receipt.

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee that means that you have the right to cancel your order within 28 working days starting from the day after you receive your goods. We will fully refund money paid for products returned to us unused, with the original packaging. (Faulty goods must be reported within 7 days of receipt).

All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days. Complaints are usually resolved within 2 weeks, although customers will be informed throughout the process.
If your goods have been damaged in transit please retain the packaging and inform us within 7 days of receipt of goods giving as much information as possible. We will then contact you to discuss a replacement item or a refund and what we would like you to do with the damaged item. This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
